About DentoMaxilloFacial Radiology

Dentomaxillofacial Radiology is the journal of the International Association of Dentomaxillofacial Radiology (IADMFR) and is dedicated to the closely related fields of oral radiology and head and neck imaging. Dentomaxillofacial Radiology keeps dentists, radiologists and other clinicians abreast of the most important research and developments in oral and maxillofacial radiology.

The specialty of orthodontics is rapidly adopting new imaging modalities, particularly cone-beam computed tomography, for the diagnosis and treatment planning of orthodontic patients. Dentomaxillofacial Radiology regularly features papers on this topic and others that will appeal to orthodontists who want to understand and use the latest technology for their patients.

Dentomaxillofacial Radiology publishes original research papers, review articles, systematic reviews, case reports, short communications and technical reports, covering both the clinical and experimental aspects of oral and maxillofacial imaging.

Audience: Dentists from all specialties plus anyone with an interest in head and neck imaging.

Beginning in 2007, Dentomaxillofacial Radiology will increase its frequency from six to eight issues per year, to provide 33% more content. The Journal will be published in January, February, March, May, July, September, October and December.
